The Environmental Services (Cleaning) Job Redesign Initiative is a collaboration between the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Workforce Singapore (WSG), supported by the Environmental Management Association of Singapore (EMAS). It is part of the Environmental Services Industry Transformation Map’s effort to help cleaning service providers and service buyers transform and grow by leveraging easy-to-adopt job redesign solutions to benefit older workers, optimise manpower resources and improve productivity.
The Environmental Services (Cleaning) Job Redesign Initiative is open to cleaning service providers and buyers who are keen to become manpower-lean and/or develop an age-friendly workplace through job redesign to improve work processes for their cleaning workforce.
Companies are invited to scan the QR code (Refer to Annex A of Factsheet) to complete a short questionnaire, and WSG will get in touch with you.
Under this initiative, a list of easy-to-adopt solutions, ranging from non-mechanised cleaning tools/ equipment to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions, are suggested to help companies run more effective operations, attract and retain workers, improve service outcomes and stay competitive.
Cleaning service providers and buyers can access advisory and funding support of up to $300,000 per company under the WorkPro Job Redesign Grant to implement relevant job redesign solutions to make jobs easier, safer and smarter for older workers.
