The Auxiliary Police Forces (APFs), in close partnership with Ministry of Home Affairs and Singapore Police Force, plays a critical role to safeguard key installations, support major events and conduct screening and checks at immigrations and checkpoints.
Auxiliary Police Officer (Armed) perform guard and patrol operations, conduct checks and security enforcement, as well as provide armed response to threats.
Selected candidates will undergo up to 3-month full-time resident training at employer’s in-house approved training academy, accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Singapore Police Force.
Candidate will receive a Higher Certificate in Armed Security Operations at the end of the programme if they:
a. Achieved at least 80% class attendance; and
b. Passed the assessment; and
c. Received 8 Statements of Attainments (SOAs) (at least 4 Core units and 2 Elective units) under the Security WSQ framework
Candidate will also receive their Auxiliary Police Officer warrant card, subject to approval by the Singapore Police Force.
