Early Intervention (EIPIC) Learning Facilitators refer to apprentice teachers or teacher aides who support and work with EIPIC teachers to develop and implement individualised educational plans for children with disabilities.
The PCP for EIPIC Learning Facilitators is a company-initiated Place-and-Train programme, hosted by Rainbow Centre, Singapore. The Programme is open to mid-career switchers and aims to train and equip them with the knowledge and skills to become trained early intervention apprentice teachers or teacher aides. Participants will undergo in-house training of up to 6 months. The training components can be found at Table 1.

Career Opportunities as an EIPIC Learning Facilitators
EIPIC Learning Facilitators have well-defined career pathways. New entrants without prior experience enter the sector as apprentice teachers or teacher aides with salaries which will commensurate with their qualifications. Once on the job as apprentice teachers or teacher aides, they can convert to fully-trained EIPIC teachers after further training and obtaining the necessary qualifications i.e. Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs). Thereafter, they can move up to become senior teachers, lead teachers or programme leads.
