The Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) for Educational Therapists is a Place-and-Train programme hosted by Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS). The Programme is open to mid-career switchers and aims to train and equip them with the knowledge and skills to become Educational Therapists.
Career Opportunities as an Educational Therapists
Educational Therapists are specialist professionals who provide educational therapy and teaching to students with dyslexia or other Specific Learning Differences such as ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Asperger’s Syndrome. Working closely with MOE Teachers and parents, they specialise in teaching language and literacy, or in other subjects such as Mathematics, Chinese, and Examination Skills etc.

Trainees will undertake the 9-month (estimated) training of the Specialist Diploma of Educational Therapy offered by DAS Academy, which is supplemented with On-the-Job training (OJT) including course planning and classroom teaching. The course fees and salaries during training are fully funded by Workforce Singapore and Dyslexia Association of Singapore.
