The Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) for Dental Surgery Assistants (DSAs) is designed to equip locals with relevant skill-sets to remain career resilient and match them into good jobs in dental services.
DSAs work alongside the dental surgeon as an integral partner to examine and treat patients. Job opportunities are island-wide, and applicants should be prepared to take on shift work, and a 5.5-day work week. Applicants must be able to converse in English and one other local language. Under the Programme the monthly gross starting salary1 for a diploma holder is expected to start from $2,000 and $1,700 for ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level graduates.
