This PCP offers opportunities for PMETs with no prior experience in the sector, to acquire essential skillset such as current Good Manufacturing Practices and Process validation.The 12-month PCP consists of 4 months of facilitated classroom training, which will lead to attainment of WSQ Advanced Certificate in Process Technology (Biologics Manufacturing), and 8 months of structured On-the-Job-Training (OJT) that is contextualised to the operations of the company. WSQ Supervise Workplace Safety and Health Practices
WSQ Optimize Operating System
WSQ implement Process Quality Control
WSQ Establish an Overview of the Principles of Validation
WSQ Manage Problem Solving, Deviation Handling and Root Cause Analysis for Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing
WSQ Establish a Basic understanding of Change Control Management
WSQ Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Deviations
WSQ Implement Analytical Method Validation
WSQ Operate inoculation and Fermentation reactors

The PCP helps to lower the companies’ cost of hiring PMETs by:
Providing course fee support of up to 90% capped at $14,040 per trainee
Providing salary support at 70% of participant’s salary capped at $2,000 per month for the 12-month training period; and
Enhanced salary support of 90% of participant’s salary capped at $4,000 per month for only Singapore Citizen (SC) that are Long-Term-Unemployed (LTU) PMETs (who have been unemployed for more than 6 months) or mature SC PMETs that are aged 40 and above
Successful participants of the PCP for Biologics Manufacturing sector may expect a starting salary of $2,000 - $5,500 per month.
