Individuals will undergo a short-term work trial with a host company to acquire skills, and improve confidence to potentially take on new jobs.
An eligible job seeker who complete the work trial will receive cash incentives of up to $1,100. Please see Table 1 for details.

$7.50 per hour cap at 80 hours
$4.50 per hour cap at 80 hours
Successfully completed at least 75% of Work Trial; and
Submit original copy of the Trainee’s Details and Claim Form for Training Allowance endorsed by the employer.
Retention Incentive (RI)
One-off $500 incentive
One-off $300 incentive
Employed with a company within one month after the Work Trial;
Retained in a job for at least three months;
Show proof of salary slips/CPF contribution statements for at least three consecutive months from the start date of employment;
Submit copy of claim form and
Submit copy of Claim Form for Retention Incentive.
Note: During work trial, eligible job seeker under the Work Trial will not be eligible for CPF contributions as there is no formal employer-employee relationship between the host company and the job seeker then. WSG/NTUC's e2i (Employment and Employability Institute) will provide insurance coverage to the eligible job seeker during the work trial period.
