3. Sharpen your skills
Wonder if your skills are getting rusty, especially after a career break? Here are some work attachment opportunities and upskilling courses to “un-rust” your skills or, pick up something new so that you can widen your job opportunities.
Career Trial Take on a short-term trial to assess whether the job is suitable before considering formal employment. You will be receiving training allowance during the trial. Part-time job opportunities are also available for women
who need flexible work arrangements to balance work and family commitments.

Interested in switching careers? Discover new occupations or sectors that have good prospects and opportunities for progression, we offer close to 100 CCPs in about 30 sectors.

SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme (SGUP)
If you are aged 40 and above, consider taking up an industry-relevant attachment programme lasting from four to six months with approved host organisations. Gain industry-relevant experience,
develop new skills and boost your employability. Look forward to a full-time role with the host organisation if your performance is assessed to be satisfactory during the attachment.

SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)
For mid-career individuals to acquire industry-relevant skills that improve employability and help you move into new sectors or job roles. Choose from a variety of part-time or full-time
training courses, that ranges from three to 12 months.

You can receive up to 90% course fee subsidies for SSG-supported courses. Eligible for Singaporeans aged 40 and above.
