The GRaduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG)  that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities for a period of 3 to 6 months across various sectors. 

The programme aims to support fresh graduates from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions), amid uncertainties in the economy. It supports structured traineeships for trainees to gain hands-on industry-relevant experience and skills, preparing them for successful transition into full-time employment.

By participating in the programme, fresh graduates can:  

(a) Gain valuable industry experience through structured on-the-job training  

(b) Strengthen their employability by preparing them for a successful transition into full-time employment  

(c) Receive a traineeship allowance throughout the traineeship, co-funded by the Government and the host organisation

The traineeship opportunities will be available from October 2025 when the GRIT programme is launched. Fresh graduates are encouraged to register their interest here to be among the first to know when the programme is launched and opportunities become available.
