A step-by-step guide to applying for CCP
- Access to on-the-job training for career transitions into growth sectors with long-term prospects
- Salary support of up to 90% for mid-career workers
- Embark on a new career with CCPs across around 30 sectors
Benefits of CCPs
CCPs provide salary support to employers for reskilling mid-career individuals. Long-term unemployed or mature jobseekers aged 40 and above are eligible for higher salary support of 90%. WSG offers CCPs in around 30 sectors to help mid-career jobseekers or existing employees reskill and take on new job roles with good prospects and opportunities for progression.
There are 3 modes of CCPs:
1. Place-and-Train: companies hire jobseekers and put the individuals through on-the-job training (OJT) to take on a new growth job role.
2. Attach-and-Train: companies act as host employers to provide jobseekers with training and work attachments, in growth job roles where there are good prospects for placement.
3. Job Redesign (JR) Reskilling: companies send existing employees for reskilling, to take on growth job roles aligned to Jobs Transformation Maps.
Growth job roles are emerging or good job opportunities with long-term prospects for progression, identified in each sector based on industry transformation trends and future workforce needs.
