Built for experienced career coaches and practitioners seeking to guide and develop others, CSP builds your mastery of career supervision from core fundamentals to supervisory strategies, supervision models, evaluation processes, and feedback frameworks.
The 4 competencies* of the you will attain from CSP are:
- Interpret career supervision roles and impact to effectively supervise career development practitioners
- Apply code of ethics to make ethical decisions in career development supervision
- Employ supervision models and skills to effectively supervise career development practitioners
- Apply foundations of supervision evaluation to systematically assess career supervision effectiveness
*CSP curriculum has been refreshed with effect from May 2026 to reflect changes in the labour market, advancements in digital tools, and emerging areas such as career wellbeing, while strengthening practical application to better equip practitioners to support individuals in today’s dynamic work environment. Past CDF graduates will not be required to retake any modules but will be supported with resources to update your knowledge in line with the revised competencies.
There are two pathways to attain the Career Supervision Programme (CSP).
a. Training and Assessment Pathway:
You will undergo self-paced e-learning, followed by 2 half- day learning checkpoint session and 2-days online classroom-based training, where you will have the opportunity to interact with the facilitator and other participants through skill practices and discussions.
b. Assessment-Only Pathway (AOP):
The AOP recognises your knowledge and skills acquired through prior learning and work experience. It provides an option for you to attain the WSG CSP certification directly through assessment without undergoing training.
